Zachary Griffin

Zach is a current graduate student at Augusta University pursuing a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a counseling intern at Augusta Psychiatry & Therapy Associate, he will work closely under the supervision of Carolyn Ramp, LPC, as he works toward completing his master’s program and earning his Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). Under her supervision, Zach provides counseling services to clients experiencing anxiety and/or depression as he develops his professional counseling skills.

Zach is interested in an integrative therapeutic approach that acknowledges each person’s unique circumstances, calling for individualized treatment to best support and navigate their life experiences. To support this, he is developing a greater understanding of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) as the foundational modalities within his integrative approach.

Throughout his internship at Augusta Psychiatry & Therapy Associates he is committed to collaborating with clients to support goal attainment and improved quality of life.

During his personal time, Zach enjoys staying active and maintaining his physical fitness, PC gaming, and developing his skills in the world of music. Additionally, he currently serves as an active member of the South Carolina Army National Guard.
