John “Chad” Hammond
John “Chad” Hammond is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) whose practice centers on supporting adults navigating major life transitions—from young adults launching into independence to mid-life individuals facing burnout. Recognizing how overwhelming self-doubt and life’s pressures can become, he works to provide a steady, compassionate space where clients can regain strength and gain new perspective.
Before becoming a counselor, Chad spent several decades practicing law. He later earned a Ph.D. in Adult Learning and Development, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health, and is currently completing a Master’s at Westminster Theological Seminary. His therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Existential frameworks. He also works with individuals struggling with addiction.
