Katherine Hinton

My name is Katherine Hinton, LAPC.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey that thrives in a supportive, non-judgmental space. I work with adults and teens (15+) navigating life’s challenges, and I strive to provide a safe and affirming space for clients from all backgrounds and walks of life.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and psychodynamic, meaning I tailor treatment to match each person’s history, goals, and needs. I aim to provide a balanced approach to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and long-standing patterns, while also equipping you with tools to handle daily stressors and build resilience. I also bring specialized experience supporting individuals navigating substance abuse recovery.

I earned my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Psychology from Augusta University. I am currently pursuing my Associate Counseling license under the supervision of Carolyn Ramp, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS.
