Justin Tetreault

Justin Tetreault, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience across multiple clinical settings and specialties. His extensive clinical background includes emergency, trauma, intensive care, pediatrics, and flight nursing. Throughout his career, Justin has cared for patients in a variety of complex and fast-paced environments, developing a broad clinical perspective and a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Justin is committed to providing individualized mental health care that recognizes each patient's unique experiences, needs, and goals. He strives to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to actively participate in their care. His approach emphasizes building meaningful therapeutic relationships and developing treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Prior to becoming a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Justin served in both the United States Marine Corps and United States Army, including a deployment to Afghanistan. During his Army career, he served as an Emergency Room nurse and flight nurse, providing care in demanding and diverse environments. He retired from military service in 2017, bringing with him a lasting commitment to service, teamwork, leadership, and caring for others.

Outside of his professional work, Justin enjoys spending quality time with his family. He has been married to his wife for more than 32 years and is a proud father of seven children and grandfather of four grandchildren. He also enjoys playing and watching rugby and is an avid supporter of the Augusta Maddogs Rugby team. He appreciates the teamwork, camaraderie, and resilience that the sport represents.
